Mr Stephen Lonie - Chairman
Stephen Lonie is a Chartered Accountant, and was, for many years, a Partner with the leading international accounting and consulting firm, KPMG, where he was also Managing Partner until his retirement from KPMG in 2002.
Since 2002, Stephen Lonie has operated his own management consultancy practice, where he assists businesses with business planning, corporate governance, business management, commercial negotiations and transactions management. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Queensland Business School and an active non executive Director, with his other current Directorships including:
- Chairman – CS Energy Ltd (power generation).
- Chairman – Jellinbah Resources Pty Ltd (coal mining).
- Chairman – The Rock Building Society Limited.

Dr Benedict Panizza – Medical Director
Dr Panizza is an Otolaryngologist, Head and Neck Surgeon (OHNS), with sub-speciality Fellowships in both Head and Neck / Skull Base Surgery and Otology / Skull Base Surgery. He has a strong commitment to teaching and research, being an Associate Professor at the School of Medicine, University of Queensland, the lead investigator in a number of collaborative projects dealing with skull base conditions. He sits on the Editorial Board of two international ENT journals and has been involved in Registrar training for many years, being the current Chairman of the QLD Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Dr Panizza is the Head of the OHNS department at the Greenslopes Hospital, and was instrumental in forming the Queensland Skull Base Unit for which he is the Director. He is currently the Secretary of the Australian and New Zealand Head and Neck Soceity. Dr Panizza has a Master of Business Administration and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is a longstanding Director of Queensland Hearing Aid and Audiological Services (The Neurosensory Unit).

Dr Anthony Parker – Medical Director
Dr Tony Parker is an ENT Surgeon and a longstanding Director of Queensland Hearing Aid and Audiological Services (The Neurosensory Unit). His memberships include AMA, ASOHNS and he is the current Chair of the Mater Hospital ENT Department and Cochlear Implant Centre. Dr Parker practices in paediatrics and adults, providing public and private clinics and is renowned for his Cochlear Implant expertise.

Mr David Jacobson – Independent Director
David is a commercial and corporate lawyer with more than 30 years of legal practice experience. He is a partner in Langes, a national law firm with offices in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide. He provides particular insight regarding business transactions, regulatory compliance and the provision of professional services.
