What you like about working at Neurosensory
I like the variety of workload offered at Neurosensory. On a daily basis, you could be performing a number of different tests including diagnostic testing and rehabilitation. Another aspect which I think is great about working at Neurosensory is the great sense of being in a team. We are all in this together. Furthermore, from a graduate audiologists perspective, the training which you get at Neurosensory is the best and you are very supported by the other clinicians in the region and the company. Furthermore, having the ENT-centric perspective and working off a medical model is very important to me and why I enjoy working at Neurosensory.
Tell us about a significant career episode
Probably the most significant career episode for me is becoming the Senior Clinician in Charge of the Brisbane North region at the beginning of this year.
I have now worked in 3 out of the 4 teams/regions (Toowoomba, Gold Coast and Brisbane) that we have at Neurosensory. I have thoroughly enjoyed each of these and the sense of being within a team is important. Also, the social events that Neurosensory offer is great (Gala dinner and Christmas party) as well as a clinical conference to help ensure we get our professional development points each cycle.
