What you like about working at Neurosensory
My favourite thing about working at Neurosensory is the great variety of work that I get to do on a daily basis. I also really appreciate the opportunities that Neurosensory have given me in my career. We have a fun, hard working, and caring culture which I also really value.
Tell us about a significant career episode
In late 2013, I saw a man who had such bad hyperacusis that he wore ear plugs everywhere. He came in to get stronger ear plugs. I quickly realised that this guy was beyond my skill set, but having other experts within Neurosensory’s team that I could refer him on to was great. I have since followed him up. He has stopped wearing his ear plugs and he and his wife are both much happier. Even though I wasn’t able to personally help him with his issues, I was really impressed with how the other members of our team were able to sort things out for him.
Working at Neurosensory can be challenging. It can be stressful. It can be hectic. But it is also extremely rewarding.
