What you like about working at Neurosensory
Four main things I like: That I get to help people. The variety of clinical services I can offer clients, no two days are the same. The great people I get to work with. That the Company has a double bottom line – of achieving best client outcomes and being a profitable business – and walks the talk.
Tell us about a significant career episode
I remember the first time I observed an audiologist complete a diagnostic assessment as part of the sign off of their clinical skills . I watched them establish rapport with the client, carry out tests of hearing and balance, counsel the client and agree a rehabilitation program. Seeing the range of skills they’d developed, their confidence and the care they showed the client, I was so proud I could have burst. Getting to be part of that process is a part of my job that I love.
You made a great choice, picking audiology to study. Wherever you chose to work a great career lies ahead of you. If you’re looking to develop skills in both diagnostic and rehabilitation audiology, then Neurosensory is the launching pad you’re looking for.
